The Markets team at Blockchain.com comprises trading operations, quants and engineers working together to develop and run algorithmic trading strategies. The team is growing rapidly and we are looking for quant developers who can design algorithms and perform data analysis to support their ideas. They will collaborate closely with the trading operations team and engineers to validate and develop quantitative strategies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify new trading opportunities in CeFi and DeFi crypto markets
- Design and implement new crypto trading strategies in spot and derivatives markets
- Perform post-trade analysis on how the strategy performs versus expectations
- Propose improvements to existing strategies including ways to optimize balances, flows, and increase the overall performance of each strategy.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Passion for crypto markets
- Advanced training in computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics or other high quantitative fields
- Experience with analysis, manipulation, and maintenance of large datasets (i.e. R, Matlab, Pandas)
- Experience with algorithms and data structures
- Strong knowledge of probability and statistics
- Basic knowledge of tradable financial instruments including derivatives and capital markets
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in both written and verbal formats
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment that functions 24/7
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly with engineers, finance, and counterparties
- Positive attitude and mature interpersonal skills.
