About the role

We are looking for a regulation specialist to join our derivatives exchange team. You will be contributing to the building of a fast growth trading platform with innovative crypto products. For all roles, we look for people who are passionate about blockchain and cryptocurrency innovation and equipped with energy, act as owners, and have exemplary work ethics.

Responsibilities

• Take the ownership to help track regulatory requirements updates (CFTC, BoE, ESMA, EMIR, MAS) for the exchange and institution risk management
• Help the risk management team on regulation requirements and compliance on model design, testing, and evaluation
• Lead or help drive regulatory required testing and reporting
• Coordinate with exchange risk management and the global compliance and legal teams, assist in exchange license application, and help unlock new product development opportunity
• Engage with regulators and serve as the regulatory expert for the exchange and institution risk management.

Requirements

• A BS degree or above
• 5+ years of working experience in regulatory compliance and reporting field
• Hands on programming skills in SQL or other programming language
• Detail-oriented with the ability to understand and interpret complex regulatory requirements
• Take own initiatives to support strategic end goal
• Strong presentation, communication, and business writing skills
• Good understanding of exchange, clearing, settlement, liquidity and stress test, margin, regulatory compliance, and waterfall risk. management
• Passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain.
