Role Title: Research Operations Assistant
We are looking for an organized and hard-working Assistant to help support our team. The Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Research Operations Manager at Polychain.
Responsibilities
- Support the Research Operations Manager with a variety of administration tasks and projects such as scheduling, inbox support, document and data management, report creation, etc.
- Keep pulse on Research team’s calendars (conflicts, travel plans, trends, etc.)
- Schedule meetings that involve the entire Research Team and provide administrative support such as prepare agendas, take notes, share notes and action items, and confirm follow-through on action items, etc.
- Manage the Research Jams program
- Support partnership efforts by staying up to date on conferences/events, facilitating budgeting, legal sign-off, and branding sign-off from necessary leadership, and supporting event efforts as needed
- Support onboarding and training process of research team new hires
- Input and update Research and investment pipeline information into Salesforce
- Support investment process by scheduling and tracking pitches and performing background checks on founders
- Plan Research Offsites
- Support Founders Summit planning
- Occasional travel may be required/requested
Requirements
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Articulate, polished, and concise in all communication (verbal, written, chat etc.)
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exercise good judgment
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, Salesforce, E-Signature software, and organizational tools (i.e. Asana)
- 2-5 years experience working in Administrative, Operations, or Project Management roles
- Experience in events preferred
- Ability to travel on occasion
- College degree required
- Interest in crypto, blockchain, and web3 preferred
