Kiln is hiring a Web3 Senior Data Engineer
Compensation: $87k - $112k estimated

Full-time - Paris area or full remote from France
Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Maintaining and curating Kiln's internal data platform
Supporting teams in integrating their data needs onto the platform
Building data models to address business needs
Serving as a technical expert to establish data management standards at Kiln
Stack:
Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Kubernetes
Software: DBT, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Airbyte, Grafana, Looker Studio, HubSpot
Requirements
5+ years background experience in data engineering, within a high standard engineering environment — preferably BtoB SaaS, FinTech or Crypto.
Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer, with a very strong focus on DBT and BigQuery — building and maintaining data pipelines.
Analytical mind and clear communication. You excel at understanding and synthesizing complex team needs.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment
Fluent in both French and English. All our written communication is in English.
Nice-to-have:
Experience with Golang or Python.
Familiarity with the crypto industry (staking, DeFi, portfolio, wallets).
Curiosity and ability to dig into topics while taking ownership to deliver results.
