Web3 Senior Software Engineer - Big Data/Analytics

About the role

Our Engineers are self-starters, and quick learners, with an interest in Ethereum and blockchain technologies. They are people who communicate effectively, consistently ship high quality, well-tested code and value code simplicity, performance, and the details.

Responsibilities

• Handle the end to end development of data pipeline from discovery, design, coding all the way to production support
• Involve in regular code reviews with peers
• Responsible for building data pipelines in a cost effective way
• Ability to jump on escalation and help resolve product issues
• Staying ahead in technology trends for big data and analytics

Required skills

• Experience with developing Data lakes in AWS
• Experience with Visualization tools like apache superset, tableau, looker
• Experience with working with data pipelines like AWS glue
• Experience with database technologies such as Apache Druid, Neo4J, Postgres
• Experience with Storage systems e.g. AWS S3, Parquet Files
• Experience deploying with cloud infrastructure providers like AWS
• Knowledge of big data security best practices

Bonus points

• Experience with blockchain technologies
• Experience working with multiple layer7 protocols, GraphQL, HTTP-Rest, GRPC
• Interest / experience with Big data topics, experience with Docker
• Experience in deploying blockchain infrastructure
• Experience building SaaS applications
