YOUR ROLE
As a Social & Paid Media Specialist you will collaborate with the Marketing Team to brainstorm and develop social media content tailored to the audience for each specific social media platform in partnership with our creative agency and internal stakeholders. You will maintain a constant brand presence for Localcoin in the social media environment and participate in community management and engagement.
This position will report directly to our Brand & Campaign Manager and will be remote and based out of our head office in Toronto, Ontario.
YOUR IMPACT
- Collaborate with the Brand & Campaign Manager to develop a Social Media strategy that acts as a guideline for social media channels
- Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging and audience identification
- Manage competitive research and identify audience and content strategies
- Liaise with creative and media agency as well as our Marketing Team to develop and launch and optimize Paid & Organic social media campaigns and creatives
- Participate in community management practices in partnership with the Customer Success team
- Capture and analyze the appropriate metrics, insights and best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign
- Report on campaign performance while suggesting optimizations to campaign and creative
- Plan, create and publish digital campaigns beyond social media, as well as some traditional media campaigns
- Moderate and promote user-generated content as well as test and implement new social media channels
THIS IS YOU
- Ability to drive engagement through various social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
- Understand of how to implement conversion tracking pixels and tags
- Proficiency with Social Media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, or other is an asset
- Proficient with Native platforms such as Facebook Business Suite, Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, etc.
- Working knowledge of other Digital media channels such as Video and Display, and an eagerness to learn about, and participate in, additional Digital and Traditional executions
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects and initiatives while remaining organized
- Experience working in a heavily regulated environment
- Basic understanding of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop/InDesign

- Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and DataStudio
