Web3 Sr. Accountant

Senior Accountant

Duties for the Senior Accountant include timely and accurate monthly analysis and reporting within assigned deadlines. This position requires a strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounting functions from both a detailed and big-picture perspective.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure completeness, accuracy and quality in all areas of accounting and financial reporting

• Assist with the month-end closing process, conducting research and making correcting journal entries where needed

• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations for month-end, quarter-end, and annual closes

• Record recurring journal entries for G/L accounts, for our entities

• Work with FP&A to develop and report on key performance indicators, monthly financial data, and forecasts to drive continuous improvement and performance

• Work within and to improve the accounts payable and purchasing process flow to maximize efficiency of payment process

• Work with our BD & Engineering teams to ensure a streamlined and accurate invoicing process

• Collaborate regarding automation of system and processes

• Supporting crypto accounting, and posting using external tools

• Enhance existing financial processes through development of additional best in class methods as afforded by additional effort available from creation of this position Prepare and deliver monthly reporting to external customers
  
  

Skills and experience we're interested in:

• 2 to 5 years of related work experience required but extra is always a bonus.

• Experience using QBO, is preferred, but experience migrating accounting systems is a bonus.

• Small business, startup, and or high pace environment experience preferred.

• Advanced MS Excel skills preferred

• Experience with 1099 reporting

• Excellent organizational, supervisory, and managerial skills

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner

• Attention to detail, organization and experience in a fast-paced environment

• Interest in NFTs, Crypto, New Technologies preferred.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting or business administration

• CPA, MBA, CA, is preferred but not require
