You will

• Participate in building the risk systems of the future
• Foster innovation as you architect products and features while maintaining a high bar for quality, scale, and performance
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and team discussions
• Collaborate on setting a tech vision for the company
• Have an influence across the entire Engineering team, with correspondingly large impact to customers and the company.

Must have

• 8+ years working experience as a software developer
• Extensive knowledge of engineering processes, structural design, and system optimization
• Have experience building and running a scalable backend infrastructure
• Enjoy working with a highly collaborative team
• Driven by business impact

Nice to have

• Experience with technologies like Node.js, Kubernetes, Kafka, DataDog, AWS Aurora, etc.
• Experience with risk systems
• Some bitcoin knowledge, and the urge to learn more
• A towel
