Web3 Tax Manager

Bitcoin Depot is seeking a Tax Manager who will be responsible for carrying out tasks of a broad and complex nature, determining how to maintain compliance with multiple State and City Use and Property taxes, and manage the income tax compliance for a pass through entity (expecting to convert to a C Corp upon a public company listing). This position is required to manage external resources to meet all scheduled compliance filings and quarterly and annual financial reporting deadlines. This role will also manage domestic (US) and international compliance tax filing requirements. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Lead compliance in multiple states and city for our property and use tax filings
• Management of external resources in preparing the quarterly and annual Company income tax provision for external financial reporting
• Management of Corporate income tax compliance in various jurisdictions (Domestic and international)
• Provide cash flow information related to timing of tax payments to the finance team for cash forecasting and annual budget
• Assist with related special projects and other duties as needed
• Develop and maintain internal controls and assist management with process changes related to taxes

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of overall tax accounting experience required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• SaaS or Technology industry experience preferred
• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
• Highly organized and detail focused
• Ability to lead external resources and collaborate with various teams internally
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
