Web3 Tracer DAO Treasury Manager

As Tracer DAO's Treasury Manager, your role is internally focused to ensure that the treasury is optimized for maximum capital efficiency at all times. You will work closely with Tracer's DAO Operations and Ecosystem lead to execute on strategies that achieve your goal.

Your contribution to the team will ensure that Tracer DAO's financial runway is maximized to ensure that service providers of the DAO can contribute in return for sufficient remuneration.

Your Mission

• Treasury management: create strategies and opportunities for Tracer DAO's treasury to receive maximum capital efficiency. In the past this has consisted of:
• Depositing funds into a Maple 180-day term deposit
• Staking TOKE tokens in Tokemak to receive yield
• Monitoring and managing the DAO's 'DAO relationships' and liquidity management
• Work closely with our DAO Operations and Ecosystem Lead on executing the strategies that have been created
• Liaise with the 'Tracer lead' on future direction to ensure that the treasury can account for the directions taken
• Creating quarterly reports of DAO transactions and spending to gain a 'status update' on the current position of the treasury
• Analysing treasury risk scenarios and reporting to senior members
• Forecasting medium/long term funding & hedging requirements

Requirements

• An interest in the design of financial systems, with a focus on creating novel designs
• A deep first-principles approach to solving financial problems
• Thorough understanding of traditional financial structures, markets and debt instruments (particularly in DeFi)
• Experience in managing a Treasury function
• An understanding of accounting principles
• Effective time management/organization skills
• High value for confidentiality when handling sensitive information
• Attention to detail
• Strong computer software skills (Excel/other accounting tools)
