WHAT YOU WILL DO

As Account Executive, you will assume a pivotal position on the forefront of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to spearhead the acquisition of new business opportunities across our product portfolio, with a particular emphasis on driving revenue growth for our SDK product line. Your role demands a strong sense of self-motivation and resourcefulness as you navigate a multitude of responsibilities, encompassing the cultivation of strategic relationships, formulation of sales campaign strategies, and the creation of comprehensive sales proposals and presentations. Your approach is that of a diligent and persistent pursuer, unafraid of the challenges associated with cold outreach, and you consistently exhibit a hands-on, proactive attitude.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will work in close harmony with the Partner Success team to facilitate a smooth post-sales handoff. This collaboration underscores your focus on the front-end of the sales cycle, allowing you to dedicate your efforts to securing new partnerships and fostering business growth. Your role is designed to leverage your strengths and expertise to not only meet strategic sales objectives, but to exceed them.

  • Achieving aggressive revenue goals and sales metrics for a complex product suite.
  • Owning the client experience from initial prospecting through to deal closure and hand-off, maintaining high standards of service.
  • Presenting and selling Blockchains’ product suite strategically across various industries, tailoring solutions to meet diverse needs.
  • Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline through industry connections, cold calling, lead generation activities, and responding to RFPs.
  • Collaborating with marketing to develop sponsorable content solutions and support research for case studies.
  • Providing campaign management, including optimization, reporting, and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Delivering accurate sales forecasts and revenue projections, tracking progress against targets using tools like CRM platforms (e.g., Hubspot), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong.io, and Outreach.
  • Expertly collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Partner Success, Marketing, and Product, to develop proposals, strategies, and ensure cohesive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Conducting market analysis to identify emerging opportunities, understand competitive dynamics, and ensure product relevance.
  • Formulating and adapting sales strategies in response to market trends and customer feedback, sharing insights with internal teams for product and strategy development.
  • Crafting and delivering compelling sales presentations, effectively communicating the value proposition of products and services.
  • Leading negotiations and deal closures, using strategic sales tactics and a deep understanding of customer needs.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

To ensure success, you possess strong initiative, communication, management, and leadership skills while having a passion for NFTs, cryptocurrency, Metaverse, Blockchain technology, and all things Web3. You are proactive and diligent, eager to work with new partners and open new doors. You are a capable lead generator and full cycle sales leader. You have a passion to work cross-discipline with stakeholders from across the business, both internal and external, ensuring a successful sales cycle and positive customer experience. Leadership skills, such as performing presentations, advocating for both company and customer needs, and having great teamwork with general sales and marketing areas, are requirements. Prior experience in regulated industries will set you apart, as will a strong professional network in sectors such as gaming, finance, identity, and enterprise.

YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

You have a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Entrepreneurship, a technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in software or a related technical field. Ideally, you have direct experience developing and managing processes regarding client relationships, executing sales and partnership agreements, and managing other internal stakeholders and resources such as engineering and product. Experience in data sales and familiarity with data marketplaces and management platforms is a plus, but not a requirement, as is broader experience in regulated industries.
