We are looking for an experienced Manual and Automation QA Engineer to join our Engineering team focusing on the quality of BlockSwap product releases. This is a key role that will require grit and high discipline. Work together with our developers and privacy/security experts.
Responsibilities
- You will be in charge of the creation of automated tests for the protocol.
- Setting up and maintaining CI/CD processes
- Work with Engineering team on their QA & Release checklists
- Own Release Management tasks, and Issue tracking/sorting on Github
- Automate as much as is humanly possible, Submit comprehensive defects using the bug tracking system
- Regress and verify defects as needed, record test results, and provide metrics
- Possible extensions; Security / Vulnerability auditing; Load and performance testing
- Assist with designing and maintaining quality system policies and procedures
Requirements
- 3+ years experience manually testing with Production Quality Software Processes
- Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science or related field
- Experience as a QAE in a startup - preferably as the only QAE
- Expert knowledge of Smart Contracts JavaScript/Solidity and source code management tools Git
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes and excellent analytical skills to work with developers for troubleshooting and peer review
- Experience with testing of blockchain and/or financial applications
- Experience with Typescript and Rust would be a plus, but it is not mandatory
