JOB DESCRIPTION: Junior Tech Project Manager (Metaverse/AR)

JOIN OUR MISSION 🚀

JOB PURPOSE

We are looking for a passionate Junior Tech Project Manager to join our growing Tech team working on emerging technologies with a focus on metaverse projects like gaming, virtual worlds, nfts as well as augmented reality experiences. You will work with cutting-edge new technologies, across multiple client accounts and collaborate with our creative, design, media and development teams to drive R&D, ensuring Byte/Dept® remains at the forefront of the industry with our offering.

We are looking for someone who is passionate, creative, logically and technically minded, with strong attention to detail. We’re after a creative visual mind with a love for innovation. You should be able to build excellent relationships with both colleagues and clients alike. You will stay up to date with the latest tech trends, processes and best practices of the industry and be able to translate your knowledge into your role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting creative ideation and feasibility of proposed technical ideas
  • Support on defining project scope, deliverables, roles and responsibilities in collaboration with clients. As well as ensuring projects adhere to the agreed scope of work
  • Translate business requirements into tangible technical & user requirements
  • Technical project management; ensuring work is delivered on time, is feasible, within budget and the team has requirements they need to fulfil the project
  • Support Account Planners with project finances (estimates, timelines and status reports)
  • Coordinate resource allocations on projects
  • Oversee management of sprints including; creating projects, maintaining the project backlog, reviewing user stories, prioritising tasks
  • Providing clear direction to internal stakeholders
  • Documentation; support educate the rest of the business on new creative tech solutions

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Essential:

  • 1-2 years of Project Management experience
  • Adept at building effective client relationships and working with stakeholders to deliver targets
  • Strong communication with excellent presentation and report writing capabilities
  • Are able to work under pressure and change direction when required
  • Solid experience in tech teams building product or project-ware
  • Ability to work with developers to define technical scopes
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Familiar with principles of advertising and marketing
  • Experience in a gaming or virtual worlds
  • Experience in a marketing agency
  • Experience working with augmented reality experiences
