JOB TYPE:

CAMPUS is seeking a Director, Social Media to join the team full-time. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate and fast-growing company where you will lead the strategy, implementation, and growth of the CAMPUS social media platforms. As the Director, Social Media, you will execute a robust content strategy that upgrades fandom and brings CAMPUS to life through value-add and brand content.


LOCATION:

Miami, FL / Remote


EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of social media management, preferably within the sports, music, or crypto space
  • Extreme passion for and experience growing and engaging active social communities
  • Strong track record of success growing online communities from scratch, measured against monthly and quarterly goals
  • Excellent communicator with great project and time management skills
  • Experience creating content on Twitter, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit, Medium, and YouTube
  • Visionary and creative with the ability to think big-picture and boil it down into actionable steps
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with different teams on projects with tight timelines
  • Can show examples of content calendars and social media campaigns managed from ideation through execution
  • Expert in fusing creativity and analytics to bring brands, narratives and stories to life
  • Understands the rigors and needs of a small team and startup environment, and gets that managing social media for a vibrant college sports brand is not between the hours of 9 to 5, M-F
  • Flexibility and willingness to pivot with little notice
  • Data-driven approach to decision making
  • Possesses wit, integrity, creativity, and the ability to positively impact online communities
  • Effective coach who is skilled at providing actionable feedback

EDUCATION:

Bachelors Degree (preferred)


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and execute a unique, innovative, and value-add social media strategy
  • Responsible for the growth, stewardship, and nurturing of the CAMPUS audience
  • Implement a robust contextual content strategy that covers all CAMPUS brand content pillars
  • Establish and define the unique characteristics, voice, and day-to-day experience of each online community
  • Create compelling and modern content that brings CAMPUS to life through storytelling, design, video, and other content means
  • Ensure content and communications planning is aligned across cross-functional leaders and upcoming social media content is reviewed and approved in a timely manner
  • Continuously measure and optimize social media performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests
  • Stay on top of industry and platform trends and position CAMPUS as a leader and innovator across social media
  • Optimize team processes using a data-driven approach, tracking goals and performance metrics for the team to drive improvements over time
  • Develop and lead the strategy for incorporating and empowering brand influencers and streamers, as well as partnering with other community managers and volunteers as needed
  • Liaise between various departments on application of efforts across social media platforms to help achieve company-wide goals and objectives
  • Work with operations and legal to craft policies around engagement and make smart decisions regarding what is and is not off limits
