The Role

Cointelegraph is seeking a full time Senior Social Media Campaign Manager with specialized, advanced understanding of the NFT and cryptocurrency space. The Senior Social Media Campaign Manager plans out and oversees the social media strategy and execution of our NFT drops. The Senior Campaign Manager willlead and oversee teams who directly build out social media copy, graphics, videos, events, giveaway campaigns, whitelisting events, Twitter Spaces, AMAs, SEM support, and a number of other functions to bring an NFT drop to success. This role has high growth potential. For this role, an intermediate understanding and/or background in the crypto world is expected.


  • Ground-up development of creative vision, social media strategy, social media campaign build outs, growth strategy, and design framework for NFT drops
  • Work across creative teams to develop and execute on multi-platform social media content strategy, ideate video concepts, conceptualize graphics, provide feedback on graphics, build out social media campaigns, and execute broader social media and marketing strategies leveraging creative assets
  • Examine, analyze, and assess social media metrics, overall design on social platforms, integrating NFT themes or trends into their strategy, have a pulse on the NFT and crypto community to inform creative strategy
  • Coordinate multiple creative departments such as social media team, editorial team, community management team, and operations team for cohesive branding across full-stack social media and marketing services
  • Coordinates efforts of various roles to develop strategic plans for communicating NFT drops to engage target audience while capturing demand
  • Create integrated social media and marketing campaigns for our NFT drops to gain new customers and build repeat business
  • Supervise the execution, monitoring, and measurement of NFT social media and marketing campaigns and their success
  • Responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and owning campaign planning, execution, measurement, and optimization processes
  • Ability to manage a high volume of work and execute brand vision through all social media
  • Able to work with, coach and direct a variety of team leads and specialists on activities required to accomplish strategic goals
  • Ensures campaign implementation follows organizational guidelines
  • Compile regular reports of campaign performance and results and utilizes results from existing and previous projects to improve new campaigns
  • Builds and communicates overall plan for NFT drops to stakeholders, conducts regular touchpoints
  • Develops targeted, integrated campaigns which support company business growth and deliver the great campaign experience to prospective clients, customers, partners, and other target audiences
  • Effectively works in a virtual team environment and can manage activities and workload in line with agreed goals and deadlines

Required Education/Experience:

  • Strong background in NFTs, crypto, and blockchain, whether in a personal or professional capacity
  • 4+ years expertise in social media campaign management & general digital campaign strategy & management
  • 4+ years of experience overseeing social media managers, graphic designers, video editors, and other creative teams
  • 3+ years proven experience in a creative strategy role, ideally within the digital marketing/media industry
  • 3 years digital marketing experience
  • Proven ability to work cooperatively
  • Solid project management skills
  • Strong knowledge with crypto-industry trends is a big bonus
