RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop a deep understanding of the dYdX API and triage partner questions and asks knowledgeably and comprehensively as the first line of support
• Understand the trading workflows and technical needs of the market makers and institutional trading firms active on dYdX
• Escalate issues that need back-end engineering support (while minimizing escalations)
• Provide ongoing summary reports summarizing issues, escalations, and status for each institutional firm
• Look for opportunities to support the back-end team and proactively carve out ownership of customer-facing items

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1-3 years experience working in an entry engineering role and/or highly technical support role for an API-driven product
• Required 1+ year of experience doing highly technical customer support for an API-driven product
• Ability to understand and deeply explain technical concepts, API documentation, and libraries (Python, websocket, and C++ in particular)
• A “get it done” attitude and ownership mentality – bias toward action, great collaboration and master disambiguation – constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery
• Execution and detail oriented with the humility, drive, and scrappiness to get things done
• Communicate effectively and in a structured manner across all mediums
• Project management, time management, and ability to multitask
• Desire and passion to go deep in crypto and DeFi (if no prior experience)

NICE TO HAVES:

• SQL experience
