ABOUT dYdX:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead our strong, passionate front-end, mobile and backend engineering teams to ship new features, grow our platform, & build novel decentralized products
• Work directly with the founder and head of engineering to determine and execute on top level product priorities
• Work with internal teams to ensure that solutions built satisfy requirements and maintain a high bar for quality
• Participate in code and architecture reviews of major projects
• Mentor and guide engineers in career growth and day-to-day duties
• Aid in recruiting and retaining great engineering talent

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams
• 6+ years of experience in software development roles – ideally with experience in mobile or front-end engineering
• Excellent at communicating with both engineers and others across disciplines
• Able to write readable, reusable, and performant code
• Adept at prioritizing and organizing tasks
• A leader who is excited to work for a fast-paced startup
• High-level understanding of product and technical concepts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
