The position of Operations Director, with direct accountability to the Chief Operating Officer, encompasses the supervision of everyday fund harmonizations and close cooperation with service providers. The ideal candidates boast a history in the operational facets of hedge funds or venture capital, possess proficiencies in accountancy, a fervent intrigue in cryptocurrencies, unparalleled scrutiny for particulars, formidable communicative abilities, and astute critical thinking aptitude.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and facilitate the daily reconciliation process for various types of crypto-native transactions, including ERC 20, 721, and 1151, as well as SAFT and venture equity transactions.
• Collaborate with the fund administrator, prime brokers, and other third-party service providers to investigate and resolve trade, position, cash, and settlement discrepancies.
• Take charge of evaluating venture investments and crypto holdings.
• Supervise the examination of quarterly and annual financial statements and audits.
• Provide support for the establishment of new funds by actively engaging and onboarding relevant third-party service providers.
• Ensure data accuracy for the investment team and investors by utilizing diverse reporting tools.
• Contribute to the implementation of policies and procedures that promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Undertake ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.

Expectations & Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in an operational role at a hedge fund or VC fund.
• Essential interest in the field of cryptocurrency; prior experience with cryptocurrency is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in trade lifecycle and reconciliation systems.
• Preferably possess a degree in Accounting (BA/MA) or hold a CPA qualification.
• Familiarity with Tableau or similar data visualization software is a plus.
• Self-motivated and capable of effectively managing multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
• Exceptional written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable with remote work and the ability to work independently.
