## Mission
We're building the world's first transportation platform that provides unlimited rides for a flat monthly membership fee, powered by our innovative advertising and GCoin token ecosystem. Our smart contracts are deployed on Polygon mainnet, our presale platform is ready for launch, and we need a technical leader to drive us to market.

## The Role
As Founding CTO, you'll lead all technical aspects of GratisFare's development, working directly with the founder to launch our GCoin presale, complete our platform features, and build our engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of transportation technology from the ground up.
### Key Responsibilities
- **GCoin Presale Launch:** Optimize and launch our GCoin presale platform to drive initial funding
- **Platform Development:** Complete our transportation platform's core features and prepare for market launch
- **Technical Leadership:** Make critical architecture decisions and establish engineering best practices
- **Team Building:** Recruit, manage, and mentor a world-class engineering team as we scale
- **Investor Relations:** Support fundraising efforts through technical demos and due diligence
- **Technical Challenges:**
- Complete GFlow (Rust) integration with microservices architecture
- Standardize UI framework transition from Chakra UI to Tailwind CSS
- Resolve Web3 library version compatibility issues
- Implement production-grade monitoring and alerting
### Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years in technical leadership roles
- Experience scaling engineering teams from early-stage to growth
- Strong full-stack development skills
- Blockchain development experience (Ethereum/Polygon preferred)
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts
- Startup experience strongly preferred
### Technical Stack
- **Backend:** Node.js, Python, Rust, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kubernetes
- **Frontend:** React, React Native, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
- **Blockchain:** Solidity, Web3, Polygon/Ethereum
- **Infrastructure:** AWS/GCP, Docker, Nginx, PM2, CI/CD, monitoring
## Compensation & Equity
### Base Compensation
- **Initial Salary:** $120K-150K base (pre-presale)
- **Post-Funding Salary:** $180K-250K (after presale success)
- **Equity:** 3-5% founding team equity
- **GCoin Tokens:** 5-10M tokens (0.5-1% of total supply) from team allocation
- **Benefits:** To be implemented upon presale funding
### Performance Incentives
- **Presale Launch Bonus:** $15,000 upon successful GCoin presale deployment
- **Funding Milestone:** Salary increase to $180K-200K upon Series A close
- **User Growth Bonus:** Additional equity grants at 10K, 50K, 100K users
### Vesting
- **Equity:** 4-year vesting with 1-year cliff
- **Tokens:** 4-year vesting with 1-year cliff (same as equity)
