💼 The Opportunity

Are you an expert solidity programmer with deep expertise in blockchain backend and looking for an opportunity at the intersection of crypto, media and gaming?

Our company is a start-up creating write-to-earn NFT games. We have a number of celebrity and franchise partnerships that allowed us to raise funding for the company and now we are expanding our engineering department to deliver our storytelling based games and build a token economy.

An senior blockchain engineer at Kangaroo will be the force of nature behind building a token economy to democratize storytelling. You will work closely with the founders to build out the direction of the write-to-earn model. Along the way, you will have a direct impact on how to best build for our end users, working with product leads to scope features.

We are young and growing rapidly, and as a senior blockchain engineer, you will be able to identify novel solutions to unknown problems, and help establish efficient best practices for the entire team.

This is a long-term, full-time position. Please do not apply if you are juggling multiple projects. We require our engineers to be fully committed to the project to deliver the best possible results.

What you will be doing:

• Writing custom smart contracts for write-to-earn games
• Developing back-end web3 integration to bridge between our games and our contracts
• Following industry standard documentation practices
• Working with company leadership to ensure the engineered product matches company vision
• Be part of a distributed team of engineers
• Helping to innovate new concepts for gamified blockchain experiences
• QA

English language fluency is a requirement.

We are open to people in different time zones but you must be able to take meetings and be present during our working hours.
