About Us

Longbridge is a fast-growing online brokerage platform on a mission to make investing smarter, simpler, and more accessible for everyone. We combine technology, data, and financial expertise to deliver a modern investing experience to retail investors.

About the Role

This is a high-impact, managerial role ideal for a financial professional who has built hands-on crypto operational experience and is ready to lead a growing team (3 - 4 Crypto Operations Associates in the near horizon). You will own the day-to-day functioning of crypto trading operations, custody infrastructure, and settlement workflows, while maintaining the compliance and risk standards expected of a regulated financial institution. You will partner closely with Securities Operations, Compliance, Product, and Technology teams to ensure our organization delivers exceptional customer experience while maintaining regulatory rigor.

We’re looking for a hands-on professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited to build crypto operational infrastructure that scales. The role is ideally based in the Greater Dallas area.

Key Responsibilities

Trading Operations & Settlements

• Oversee end-to-end execution of crypto trade operations, including order management, confirmations, and post-trade reconciliation.

• Manage settlement processes across centralized exchanges and on-chain venues, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Coordinate with trading and treasury/finance teams to monitor intraday positions/funding and resolve settlement breaks or discrepancies.

• Build and maintain operational SOPs and SLAs for crypto trade lifecycle management.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Partner with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure crypto operations adhere to applicable AML/KYC regulations, travel rule requirements, and internal policy.

• Conduct and document risk assessments for new counterparties, blockchains, and operational processes.

• Maintain operational controls and audit trails required for regulatory reporting and internal audits.

• Stay current on evolving crypto regulation (SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, and international equivalents) and assess operational impact proactively.

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Lead and develop a small crypto operations team (2 - 4 Associates in the future horizon), providing coaching, task delegation, and performance oversight.

• Act as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders including Trading, Products, Finance, Technology, and Compliance.

• Represent Crypto Operations in cross-functional projects including new product launches, system implementations, and regulatory initiatives.

• Prepare management reporting on operational KPIs, risk exposures, and incident summaries.

Custody & Wallet Management

• Manage relationships with institutional custody providers (e.g., Fireblocks, BitGo, Anchorage) and oversee wallet architecture for hot, warm, and cold storage.

• Enforce key management policies, multi-sig authorization workflows, and access controls in line with institutional security standards.

• Monitor blockchain transactions, gas fees, and on-chain activity to support efficient fund movement.

• Maintain up-to-date asset support across custody infrastructure as new tokens and chains are onboard.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of operations experience within financial services, with at least 2 - 3 years directly in crypto or digital asset operations.

• Demonstrated hands-on experience with institutional custody platforms and exchange connectivity.

• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals across major L1/L2 networks (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.).

• Working knowledge of AML/KYC requirements and financial compliance frameworks as applied to digital assets.

• Experience with trade reconciliation, settlement workflows, and operational controls in a regulated environment.

• Proven ability to lead small teams and manage cross-functional relationships.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to operate within regulated environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a bank, asset manager, broker-dealer, or prime brokerage entering or

expanding into digital assets.

• Familiarity with custody providers such as Fireblocks, BitGo, Anchorage Digital, or Copper.

• Exposure to smart contract interactions, DeFi protocols, or tokenized asset platforms.

• Experience building operational processes in a greenfield or fast-scaling environment.

What We Offer

• A front-row seat to building institutional crypto infrastructure from the ground up.

• Competitive compensation including base salary and bonus.

• Collaborative, cross-disciplinary team with deep financial markets expertise and genuine crypto conviction.

• Ongoing professional development budget and support for relevant certifications.

• Flexible hybrid work arrangement, with offices in a major financial hub; however, the role is ideally based in the Greater Dallas area.
