Responsibilities:
- Facilitate the seamless onboarding of business clients;
- Contribute to the creation of an exceptional experience for every client;
- Conduct client research on specialist and open source databases, and effectively communicate with clients via email;
- Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Client Due Diligence (CDD) procedures;
- Coordinate directly with Kraken’s Compliance team to obtain relevant KYC requirements;
- Respond to client requests in a timely manner to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA), and reach performance goals;
- Attend team meetings, training sessions and be diligent in keeping up with our onboarding knowledge base
- Provide feedback and let your management line know how they can help you achieve your goals;
- Maintain up to date knowledge on regulatory changes and landscape.
Requirements:
- 2+ years in a compliance operations role in the financial service or crypto industry.
- A certificate such as ACAMS or ICA would be a plus point.
- Strong understanding of KYC/KYB or AML procedures for financial institutions.
- Fundamental understanding and experience with regulatory KYC/CDD and AML requirements.
- Strong knowledge of business models, various corporate structures and beneficial ownership requirements
- Comfortable working in fast paced environments with a goal-oriented mentality.
- People-centred, supportive, flexible and a team player.
- Ability to multi-task and to handle high volumes of requests, all while creating a best-in class experience for our clients.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication skill in English.
