Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities, develop roadmaps, and implement go-to-market (GTM) and expansion strategies for UK, Europe and beyond in partnership with internal stakeholders;
- Develop effective and scalable operational processes and fill operational gaps;
- Assist the leadership team in keeping track of and do things that are important to the business;
- Execute and track progress of leadership meetings and other interactions internally and externally;
- Own ad hoc projects (long term or short term) that do not naturally fall in any department or a project that the the leadership team wants to individually drive such as competitor tracking, Partnership discussions, vetting investment opportunities;
- Determine and drive key performance indicators (KPIs)and how to measure performance;
- Assist the the leadership team in influencing and driving strategy alignment across various functions;
- Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership in the team;
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure budgets and resourcing are aligned to top business priorities;
- Lead and drive cross functional initiatives that are part of the business strategy;
Requirement:
- A Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of experience across consulting, investment banking, private equity, business operations, and/or business analytics.
- Experience in GTM Strategy & Operations at a high growth startup and/or marketplace business is an added plus;
- Highly analytical and data-driven mindset -- you can complete complex analyses, define critical metrics, size opportunity areas, and measure and report on performance across the business
- Ability to think across multiple dimensions of a business (sales, product, marketing etc.) and work cross-functionally to deliver results
- Ability to flex between analytical, strategic and operational aspects of the job
- Resourceful and happy to roll up your sleeves to get any job done
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with constant change
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
