As the SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for: • Using tools such as Ahrefs to analyze backlink profiles, evaluate websites performance, understand the results, make recommendations on improvements and implement • Create lists of domains, journalists and other resources that are useful for future campaigns and outreach, using advanced searching techniques • Evaluating and monitoring competitors for off-page metrics, including backlink gap analysis and overall backlink profile evaluation • Monitor, track and analyze ranking performance on an on-going basis • Regularly evaluate current backlink profile’s issues, to ensure adequate maintenance of the website is kept • Research and identify additional opportunities to increase our website’s exposure on SERPs • Growing the websites’ organic traffic through off-site and technical improvements • Staying current on global SEO and search landscape and emerging trends and identify tools and reports to automate processes or deliver more sophisticated understanding
Nice to haves • 2+ years of experience with both technical and off site SEO • Experience with outreach and link building • Fast learner with excellent problem-solving ability • Proven track record of results with improving search rankings and/or developing and managing website reporting tools • Working knowledge of SEO tools, website standards, usability testing, website reporting tools, and web analytics • Knowledgeable about the latest trends in the search engine
