The world of digital assets is accelerating in speed, magnitude, and complexity, opening the door to new ways for leveraging the blockchain. Fireblocks’ platform and network provide the simplest and most secure way for companies to work with digital assets and it trusted by some of the largest financial institutions, banks, globally-recognized brands, and Web3 companies in the world, including BNY Mellon, BNP Paribas, ANZ Bank, Revolut, and thousands more.
About the Role
Fireblocks is looking for a data-driven, hands on, buyer’s journey and AI-savvy Senior SEO Manager to lead the next evolution of our organic growth engine. This is a mission-critical role for an experienced SaaS SEO professional who understands that discoverability today means meeting customers where they are — through search, AI-powered experiences, and intent-driven content.
You’ll own and operationalize our organic growth strategy — grounded in customer insights, Jobs to Be Done (JTBD) framework, and lifecycle-centric content — to drive high-value demand. You’ll also lead the charge in leveraging AI as a discovery surface, helping Fireblocks adapt and thrive in an SEO landscape increasingly shaped by AI-driven interfaces, search generative experiences (SGE), and intelligent content delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end SEO strategy, aligning with demand generation, content, and product marketing to drive qualified discoverability, ultimately leading to new business acquisition.
- Develop SEO strategies targeting high-value personas across the funnel.
- Build and execute a scalable content strategy aligned to high-intent use cases in financial services, crypto infrastructure, and payments.
- Partner with product marketing, growth, content, and web teams to ensure SEO strategy supports both self-serve and enterprise demand generation.
- Drive keyword and topic discovery that prioritizes customer intent, not just traffic volume, and aligns with evolving AI search behaviors.
- Optimize and structure our site architecture, landing pages, and content to improve SERP visibility, SGE inclusion, and conversion outcomes.
- Lead on-site SEO (technical, content, architecture) and off-site SEO (link building, content distribution, and digital PR) efforts.
- Own and evolve our programmatic SEO initiatives to scale discoverability across customer segments and markets.
- Track performance using tools like GA4, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and HubSpot — and rethink SEO KPIs as AI-driven interfaces (e.g., SGE, ChatGPT, Perplexity) increasingly shift discovery away from vendor websites and toward in-tool answers.
- Champion the use of AI tools and platforms (e.g., language model optimization/LMO, generative search, semantic search models, AI-driven content research) to stay ahead of shifting discovery patterns.
- Run A/B and multivariate tests on landing pages and content experiences to continually improve organic conversion rates.
- Build reports that tie SEO performance to LTV:CAC, pipeline contribution, and business outcomes, not just traffic and rankings.
- Stay current on industry trends — including algorithm updates, zero-click search, voice search, and the expanding role of AI in SEO.
Who You Are
- Strategic growth partner: Works across product marketing, content, demand gen, and UX to align SEO with business outcomes.
- Customer-obsessed: Uses Jobs to Be Done, personas, and behavioral data to map search intent to lifecycle needs.
- AI-savvy: Optimizes not just for SERPs, but for AI-powered discovery (SGE, voice, chatbots, semantic search).
- Content-informed: Collaborates on or leads content strategy, ensuring discoverability and conversion.
- Performance-focused: Tied to metrics like pipeline generation, CAC, LTV, and SQLs — not just traffic.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, with a strong track record of driving B2B SaaS growth through organic channels.
- Expertise in Customer-Led SEO and leveraging the Jobs-to-be-Done framework & proven ability to build SEO strategies from the ground up based on real customer insight and behavioral data.
- Deep knowledge and curiosity around AI’s evolving role in search and discoverability
- Strong foundation in technical SEO, with working knowledge of modern web platforms (WordPress preferred), HTML/CSS/JS, and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience with SEO tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and analytics platforms such as GA4, HubSpot, Looker, or similar.
- Experience managing internal and cross-functional teams and/or external contractors, writers, or vendors.
- Sharp analytical skills with a passion for testing, learning, and iterating based on performance data.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills — you know how to get things done cross-functionally.
For employees hired to work remotely from New York, or from our NYC HQ, Fireblocks is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range is specific to New York City, and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as years of experience, skills, and other business needs. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and each compensation decision is dependent on each individual case. A reasonable base salary range estimate for this position is $103,000-$135,000.
The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a target bonus, a very competitive equity grant, and very generous benefits. While we believe competitive compensation is a critical aspect of you deciding to join us, we do hope you also spend time considering why our mission and culture are right for you. We are creating something transformational here, and we hope you are as excited about the future as we are.
Fireblocks' mission is to enable every business to easily and securely access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. In order to do that, we strongly believe our workforce should be as diverse as our clients, and this is why we embrace diversity and inclusion in all its forms.
Please see our candidate privacy policy here.
Is SEO a high paying job?
According to various salary reports, as of my knowledge cut-off in June 2023, SEO specialists in the United States might earn anywhere from $40,000 to $70,000 annually at the mid-level, with senior or specialized roles potentially reaching into six figures
These numbers can vary widely based on the aforementioned factors
SEO can be a well-paying field, but the salary for an SEO job can vary widely based on several factors, including the individual's experience, specialization, location, the size and industry of the employer, and the specific responsibilities of the role
For example:
- Entry-Level Positions: Those just starting in SEO may find that the initial salaries are more modest, reflecting the need for on-the-job training and experience building.
- Mid-Level and Experienced Professionals: With several years of experience and a track record of success in improving search rankings, an SEO professional can command a higher salary. Specializing in a particular aspect of SEO, such as technical SEO or link-building, can also increase earning potential.
- Management Roles: Those who move into leadership or management roles within SEO, overseeing teams, and developing strategy, can earn significantly higher salaries.
- Location: Salaries for SEO roles can vary based on geographic location, reflecting the cost of living and demand for SEO expertise in a given area. Generally, working in larger cities or tech hubs may offer higher pay.
- Freelance and Consulting Opportunities: SEO professionals who work as freelancers or consultants may have the potential to earn more, especially if they can build a strong client base. However, this path may also include additional uncertainties and responsibilities, like finding clients and managing a business.
- Industry and Company Size: Working in certain industries or for larger companies may result in higher salaries due to the greater resources and revenue potential associated with effective SEO.
- Performance Bonuses and Incentives: In some roles, compensation may be tied to performance metrics, such as improvements in search rankings, organic traffic growth, or other KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Achieving or exceeding these targets may lead to bonuses or other financial incentives.
