We are a global company and vastly growing; we have ~100 employees worldwide and are looking to double our headcount by 2023. Our mission is to bring DeFi to 1 Billion people.

TEAM STRUCTURE & WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

You will be the first Accountant and only the second addition to the Finance team. You'll be reporting directly to our Finance Manager, Tony Leng & working closely with various key stakeholders across the organization including HR leadership and the Product team. The Finance team’s focus and responsibility is preparing financial statements, day-to-day record keeping and reporting functions. In addition, the Finance team uses current records and reports to assess financial health and help plan short and long-term goals.

To be successful in this role, you have hands-on experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries, and are comfortable researching transactions to resolve issues. You are in for the long term, and are willing to roll up your sleeves, work hard, and learn about crypto accounting.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

At 90 days

• Establish strong familiarity with our accounting systems
• Review monthly financial statements
• Explaining budget to actual variances

At 6-months

• Consolidate crypto and fiat financials
• Assist with accounting software implementations
• Prepare weekly ad hoc financial analysis

At 1-year

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Implement a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk

MUST-HAVES

• Bachelors in Accounting
• 4+ years experience working full-time in accounting

NICE-TO-HAVES

• CPA
• Experience with Accounting for Restricted Stock Units (RSU)
• Previous experience working in startup
• Experience with Quickbooks
• Experience working in &/or strong personal knowledge of crypto
