One of SuperLayer's new projects is looking for a Head of Marketing to quickly accelerate and execute their go to market across multiple international markets and creator communities/niches. You will work closely with the creator acquisition and community teams as well as executive leadership in forming and scaling our growth teams and initiatives across paid channels, social media, industry events, and viral referral programs. In this role you'll be both a strategic leader and a hands-on executor. As an early employee, we're excited to bring on builders who don't mind getting their hands dirty.
REQUREMENTS
In this role you will...
- Coordinate and execute go to market strategy to maximize creator and end user growth and retention: own and drive key media campaigns and marketing programs to support brand objectives, working with internal and external suppliers to deliver in a timely manner and on budget.
- Lead product launches, including driving the brand direction, crafting messaging and value propositions, drafting web content, creating channel and eCommerce assets, collaborating on social media content, and delivering other marcom materials in conjunction with asset owners.
- Oversee successful industry event engagements, including sponsorships, speaking, show floor presence, scheduling, and more.
- Create and grow paid acquisition channels. Assist in outbound and inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning, etc.)
- Consistently leverage data and insights to keep the consumer at the heart all decisions; leading analysis, tracking and quarterly reporting deliverables, as well as analyzing market trends, competitor offerings, product specifications, and target audiences.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders, media, partners, and affiliates and build the nascent marketing organization.
- Be an advocate and inspirational ambassador for your brand internally and externally.
To be a good fit for us, you have/are...
- Knowledgeable in key areas of marketing: social media, content marketing, B2B and B2C marketing, digital community building, digital marketing.
- At least 3 years experience leading marketing initiatives, ideally with some time as a people manager or at an early start up. Maybe still early in your career but ambitious and looking to build the future.
- A self-starter who executes like crazy across multiple projects and maintains clarity.
- A proven track record of creative, innovative, independent, empathetic, and inclusive thinking and work. Puts significant effort into understanding and including different perspectives, cultures, methodologies, and capabilities.
- An existing network of partners, media, and other relevant connections.
- Ab ability to think strategically but eager to also go hands-on and build from scratch.
- A demonstrated ability to work well in small teams, operate in open space with the ability to set your own direction, and assess and prioritize opportunities.
- Passionate about empowering creators and their communities.
- Ready and eager to jump into web3, but direct experience is not required.
