About the role

At Sygnum, we rely on our dynamic team to solve the many challenges and puzzles that come with our rapidly evolving technical stack. We’re seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong data analytics background who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization. You’ll be joining the Clients team and work on building tools for improving the client journey at Sygnum, measuring internal KPIs and creating reporting dashboards. You will take complete, end-to-end ownership of building projects across different platforms.

Tasks

Responsibilities:

• Build systematic insights, data visualization, intuitive dashboards and data modeling to support decision making processes across the Clients team
• Work with various databases and systems to create tools for measuring business growth
• Generate reports from a complex data landscape, identify issues and suggest opportunities for improvement
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and provide support to business users of the reporting tools
• Improve internal processes via automation of manual tasks
• Ensure tools/ product performance, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful tools/ product design.
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.
• Assume leadership of new projects from conceptualization to deployment.
• Partner with business stakeholders to elaborate business requirements

Requirements

What you need to succeed:

• Experience in working with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Access and Power BI is a must
• Firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back- end languages
• Experience in reporting on large amount of data
• Background and experience with IT projects in the financial industry
• Self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and passion for automation of tasks
• Analytical skills to ask the right questions, elicit, dissect, organize, translate, and cross reference requirements
• Communication ability to successfully bridge the gap between business and tech
• Business proficiency in English and German
