We’re Hiring: Regional Sales & Business Development Lead -- EMEA

As a Regional Sales & Business Development (BD) Lead, you’ll fuel Talos’s growth in EMEA through new customer acquisition and partnership building.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, enthusiastic, proactive, and collaborative. This candidate may have a variety of applicable backgrounds including traditional sales, client relationship management, technology, or global markets. Successful Regional Sales & BD Leads take an empathetic, systematic, and consultative approach to the sales process, investing long term in the client relationship and ensuring it remains on a sustainable growth trajectory. The ideal candidate is motivated, self directed, and forward thinking, bringing enthusiasm to this opportunity to establish a regional & global footprint. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work directly with the executive team and functional leads to set the go to market strategy for the region
  • Execute and continuously optimize our expansion strategy, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches
  • Manage and build a balanced pipeline of strategic accounts, partnerships, and medium-to-large scale contributors to revenue
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close for institutional clients with a consultative approach to sales
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis, logging all data so that it may be analyzed on a global basis
  • Deeply engage with the product, its technical components and the offerings of our competitors
  • Navigate large-scale, complex organizations while engaging comfortably with senior executives and key decision makers
  • Collaborate with Product, Account Management and Engineering teams to help drive product strategy
  • Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure client success
  • Recruit, develop and lead a team of Sales and BD professionals

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of global markets or SaaS industry experience with an understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize while operating in a fast-paced autonomous environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to carry our culture globally
  • An energetic, creative, and autonomous self-starter
  • London, Frankfurt, Zurich, or Zug preferred with the possibility for remote work
