Position

We are looking for a driven, community-centric, and technically savvy head of Product Manager to define and manage the execution and roadmap for the company short term and long term strategies..

The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker, lead the product team, work with other executives to determine and ensure the entire company understands the company vision and direction. This person will act as a cross-functional leader, bringing the organization together to meet business goals. He will be comfortable digging in to conduct technical analysis on complex challenges. Aligned closely with the Engineering managers and leads to create greater visibility and control over technical project execution, constantly communicating changes, adapting, and hyper prioritizing. A key focus will be on delivering a world-class product to the end users, developing a community of streamers, advocating for the best UX.

In this role you will

  • Draw on a deep knowledge of their product and the industry to predict the future. It’s his responsibility to set the product and the company on a course to stay relevant and valuable.
  • Manage the product manager team, making sure all the products are aligning with the company goals.
  • Drive product strategy, defining the end goal and how we measure success.
  • Provide user and business expertise to make smart decisions and manage your backlog.
  • Work with and lead a talented team to drive and execute innovations and solutions.
  • Infuse energy, creativity and purpose to propel your team and give them something to come into work for each day.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need

  • Experience in Product Management: you have launched and managed at least one web or mobile product: determining needs, aligning priorities, defining requirements, delivering to the market, and ensuring value post launch. Experience in a two-sided marketplace business is a bonus.
  • Love of agile product development: You’re comfortable with operating an agile product and engineering team that spans the globe. Familiarity with agile rituals and excitement for driving an ambitious agile team roadmap is a must.
  • Sound business judgement and an eye for detail: You obsess over the quality of the product. You are detail-oriented, organized, and able to quickly prioritize while managing multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Customer-centric user experience sensibility: You have a deep affinity for your users and are adept at analyzing, understanding and segmenting customers and translating these findings into user experience requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: You have a strong executive presence for interfacing with customers, peers, colleagues, and executives. You’re able to distill from complexity the essence at the heart of competing philosophies and approaches and gracefully corral savvy stakeholders towards harmonious solutions. You’re able to succinctly articulate goals, progress, and priorities to all stakeholders in written, verbal, and presentation formats.

Basic qualifications

  • 3-5 years in the leading product management team.
  • 10+ years experience in product management
  • Experience with web applications, Windows, and Mac Desktop applications
  • Technical background is preferred.
  • Skills in data design, monitoring, analysis, tools (such as excel)
  • Examples of your previous successes in product management.
  • A good grasp on data and how to incorporate it into your decision-making.
  • A position on how to effectively and efficiently validate, test and ultimately bring a product to market successfully.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on communicating both technical solutions to internal and external audiences; as well as being able to communicate the business value. Must be very good at writing clear problem and outcome oriented requirements and user stories.
  • Strong user and design instincts and ability to work with and support UX and design in support of user goals.
  • Proven track record in managing a product and business analysis in an agile environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration focus, ownership, urgency, and drive.
