By bringing together investment discovery, portfolio management and markets analysis, we make it easy for investors of all experience levels to explore and evaluate everything from crypto and NFTs to fine art and farmland—all while understanding how those assets fit into their current investing strategy.

Founded in 2020, we are a seed stage company, venture-backed by leading funds and investors in LA, NYC and SF. Our founders are based in Los Angeles, and we're remote-first.

What we're looking for

MoneyMade is looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated recent college graduate or entry-level professional to write original articles that help our members make better investment decisions.

The ideal candidate has a passion for cryptocurrency, Web3 and investing. This role is right for you if you're eager for impact, knowledgable about personal finance and empowered by a solutions-first mindset. This position is remote (US only) and reports to our content lead, who is based in Portland, OR.

• Simple Writer — Your prose is clean, clear and concise. You use 5 cent words instead of two dollar words. You value reader comprehension above all else.
• Initiative Taker — You love taking ownership of new projects. You independently identify areas of opportunity and present new ideas.
• Communicator-in-Chief — You're great at articulating your point of view and voicing concerns. You ask for help when you need it.
• Energetic Executor — You show up every day with a hard hat and a smile. You're eager to get stuff done, and no task is too big or small for you.
• Super Producer — You work smart and hard. You're as comfortable with numbers as you are with words.

Responsibilities

• Write 4 to 6 original articles per week on investing, alternative assets and Web3 (crypto, NFTs, DeFi, etc.)
• Improve existing articles on the site with guidance from our content lead
• Learn how to write SEO-friendly articles in our brand tone
• Occasionally pitch in with writing email newsletters and other types of content
• Brainstorm creative ways to improve our content product and bring more investing insights to MoneyMade members

Qualifications

• Previous writing experience for a consumer-focused publication
• Four-year college degree, preferably in English, economics or finance
• Previous internship or part-time work experience
• Interest in and some previous exposure to personal finance or investing
• Bonus points for previous experience writing SEO-friendly guides (if so, highlight this in your email to us)
