Trust Machines is hiring a Web3 Communications Lead
Location: NY New York City, New York, United States
We are looking for a talented and mission-oriented Communications Lead to join our remote-first team here at Trust Machines. You’ll be responsible for growing and improving Trust Machines’ public image. You'll work on public relations, managing product & partnership announcements, internal communications, investor relations, and collaborating with the social media and marketing teams. The role requires a proven ability to understand blockchain technology, Bitcoin, and the Stacks ecosystem.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute public relations campaigns to amplify Trust Machines' voice. This would include all stages of the campaign: strategy, drafting, implementation, and evaluation.
- Simplify complex data and concepts into key messages that help others understand what Trust Machines is building.
- Collaborate with content and product teams to implement the Trust Machines’ external communication strategy
- Reactively respond to media inquiries, educate reporters, correct misperceptions about our products and work with the team on issues and crisis communications.
- Organize press briefings, media sessions, and events, and create press materials, including media pitches, FAQs, and fact sheets, in coordination with the team.
- Storyline with executives to create impactful pitches and narratives to position Trust Machines as a thought-leader.
- Measure and report the impact of campaigns reflecting on key performance indicators.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years in a PR manager/lead role
- Experience media training founders for interview opportunities
- You have superior writing capability (e.g., press materials, releases, event/creative briefs, press coverage reporting).
- Proven ability to pitch and secure media coverage
- Ability to develop creative, effective approaches to complex communications challenges

- A champion's mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Avid bitcoin and cryptocurrency enthusiast is a must! It's okay if you haven't worked in crypto before, but knowledge about the field is essential.
- You have strong relationships with national business and trade media outlets.
- You are incredibly organized, detail-oriented, and catch all typos or grammatical errors
