About the role:

The Compliance Monitoring Analyst will report to the country’s Regulatory Compliance Manager and be responsible for supporting Crypto.com’s efforts in ensuring regulatory compliance with documentation standard and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct compliance monitoring activities and enhance the Compliance Monitoring Program;
• Draft reports that present monitoring results, findings and actions;
• Develop and implement robust procedures and processes applicable to the monitoring function;
• Draft and develop policy documents within a range of legislative and administrative frameworks;
• Ensure compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures;Review existing policies and procedures and align with the Company’s priorities;
• Assist in the implementation of supporting infrastructure and processes to ensure effective policy implementation;
• Ownership and tracking of agreed remedial actions through to conclusion;
• Assist to collate the relevant information for internal and external regulatory audits;
• Identify and circulate relevant publications and communications to all appropriate staff;
• Assist in the compiling of various compliance reports in relation to compliance monitoring activities;
• Maintain the database of regulatory publications and provide summary information to the relevant team
• Assist with the preparation and submission of regulatory returns for which the Compliance team is responsible;
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure documentation integrity;
• Perform general administrative duties and any other duties and responsibilities as required.

• Minimum of at least two years experience in a legal or compliance role within a regulated financial institution, experience in virtual financial assets (cryptocurrency) will be considered an asset;
• Hands on experience in compliance monitoring and compliance testing.
• Deep understanding of, and ability to apply environmental context, data and legislation;
• A thorough understanding of Compliance and AML/CFT regulations within the financial services/ fintech industry;
• General compliance experience in multiple fields including AML, Sanctions, KYC and Onboarding;
• Knowledge of digital assets and fintech products is preferred;
• Must be able to perform independently and with minimal supervision;
• Advanced and persuasive written and verbal communication skills;
• Comprehensive research, interpretation and critical analysis skills;

• Strong organizational skills – must be multi-tasked oriented and able to balance priorities and deadlines.
