Web3 Director, International Accounting

Compensation: $84k - $90k estimated

Your Opportunity

  • Manage the international accounting process for our global operations, including coordinating with internal accounting and legal teams, and local accounting/audit firms as well as global coordinators
  • Coordinate international accounting compliance, including analysis of US GAAP to local accounting differences and the timely required filings required in each country
  • Onboard and integrate newly acquired or established entities, research applicable statutory adjustments and build relationships with local accounting and audit firms
  • Mentor and educate accounting team as needed with regard to international accounting standards
  • Implement and manage technology to improve the international accounting processes
  • Manage identification requirements for global bank accounts
  • Ensure documentation of and compliance with proper internal controls and SOX compliance

What You'll Need

  • Candidates must possess a bachelor degree (or equivalent) in Accounting from an accredited university/college
  • 5+ years of experience required in accounting department or public accounting, including with multiple entities in multiple countries simultaneously
  • Ideally have knowledge and exposure to global accounting standards
  • Experience with SaaS and/or Crypto Currency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Netsuite a plus
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who works well in a fast paced, time-sensitive “roll up your sleeves” environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple and changing priorities
  • Good analytical skills
  • Deadline oriented, strong leadership skills and the ability to complete tasks independently
