Web3 Director of Integrations

We are looking for an engineering leader with a strong background in Integrations engineering to manage a high-performing team of engineers. As a Director of Integrations, you will be responsible for overseeing key integrations initiatives, grow and mature the team, and empower Engineering with world Integration resources. We need someone who is comfortable in a highly technical fast-moving environment.

Impact

• Enable Chainlink to scale to add a large number of blockchains a year through the abstraction of blockchain capabilities, the development of an SDK, streamlining of the onboarding flow and a turn-key self-serve flow. Own the SDK for adding data provider support
• Build, inherit and run a professional services organization to utilize the SDKs above to help onboard partners as quickly as possible, scaling up the number of integrations
• Inherit the current teams to restructure them around the above goals, and grow. Attract, retain, and grow the new team by hiring the best people in the most relevant roles

Requirements

• Past experience scaling an integrations pipeline. You've built a framework with SDKs and multi-tenanted infrastructure / interfaces to allow for external integration with a large number of partners
• You've built and scaled out teams providing bespoke integration services for customers based on a PaaS offered by the same company
• Strong experience building developer tools and product sense about how to win developers
• Strong operational skills for delivering products in a hyper-growth environment. Able to assess risk, balance speed and quality in a pragmatic fashion
• Engineering competency to design and evaluate distributed systems architecture
• 3+ years of Software Engineering experience

Nice to have

• Have successfully delivered and supported multi-product mission-critical online services and maintained highly available mature deployments for 2+ years
• You're a developer tools expert with experience in infrastructure and various developer focused services
• Experience building a successful open source developer tool, with community involvement and a working relationship with external contributors
• Commitment to work in the blockchain industry for the foreseeable future

This role is location agnostic anywhere in the world, but we ask that you overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
