The Hardware Engineering team at Ledger is seeking a dedicated Touchscreen/Display Integration Engineer to join our team. You will be instrumental in the development and integration of advanced display and touch solutions for our next-generation hardware. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of display and touch integration, including hands-on driver selection, design, prototyping, rigorous testing, and validation, all the way through to mass production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, playing a key role in evaluating and selecting display technologies, defining detailed technical specifications, and ensuring seamless integration of touch functionalities. You'll be expected to maintain a deep understanding of the latest advancements in display and touch technology, and conduct in-depth evaluations to drive our long-term technology strategy.
Your mission
â—Ź Design, develop, and integrate display and touch solutions for new and existing products
â—Ź Conduct thorough testing and validation of display and touch performance
â—Ź Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and select optimal display and touch components
â—Ź Troubleshoot and resolve display and touch-related issues
â—Ź Optimize display and touch performance for power consumption, image quality, and responsiveness
â—Ź Contribute to the development of display and touch related intellectual property
â—Ź Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise
â—Ź Maintain detailed documentation of display and touch integration processes
What we’re looking for
● Masters’ degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
â—Ź Proven experience in display design and integration
â—Ź Demonstrated experience with touch integration and validation
â—Ź Strong understanding of display technologies (e.g., TFT, OLED, E-Ink) and their performance characteristics, trade-offs, and limitations
â—Ź In-depth touch technology knowledge and their implementation. Experience with touch controller tuning. Ability to analyze touch performance metrics
â—Ź Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
â—Ź Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
â—Ź Curiosity about the crypto / blockchain industry a big plus
â—Ź Fluent English speaking and writing skills
