Web3 Executive Communications Senior Associate

Ripple is looking for an Executive Communications Senior Associate to join our fast-growing Corporate Communications team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly impact Ripple’s external presence and communications. This position will be based in San Francisco or New York.

The ideal candidate has a successful track record of comms experience such as prepping executives for media interviews and speaking engagements; as well as drafting company and industry messaging, press releases and more. You’ll work with spokespeople across teams and offices, managing Ripple’s external speaking program (~200 events a year) as well as corporate communications activities related to company growth and key initiatives like sustainability and financial inclusion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO;

• Manage strategy and execution of Ripple’s external speaking engagements, including vetting/research of which events to pursue, drafting briefing docs with tailored messaging, exec prep meetings, and staffing executives at events (some travel will be part of this role!)
• Draft press releases and coordinate with larger comms, marketing, social impact and other teams on corporate comms initiatives.
• Interact directly with Ripple’s leaders, media and industry influencers.
• Draft social posts related to announcements, industry trends, etc
• Partner with our external PR and events agencies on strategy and coordination. Keep trackers up to date.
• Support spokesperson prep prior to events and provide presentation support for speaking engagements.
• Keep an eye on what’s happening throughout the industry - trends and topics that we should be aware of. Bonus points if you already have a list of your favorite crypto twitter memes :)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in communications, preferably within the crypto and/or fintech industries (agency experience also a plus!).
• Skilled at planning, prioritizing and executing in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent at project management that requires collaborating with many contributors.
• Seeks opportunities outside of existing programming to add value and deliver to the team’s broader success.
