Web3 Financial Accountant

Your future work will include

• Ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of month-end balances.
• Performing reconciliations and preparing accounting entries.
• Maintaining the general ledger accounts in the accounting system.
• Overseeing the accounts payable process.
• Performing vendor payment runs and bank reconciliations.
• Overseeing compliance with all tax, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing liquidity, cash and foreign currency positions.
• Meeting both individual and finance team objectives.
• Ad hoc requests required by the Group Financial Controller or CFO.

What we are looking for in candidates

• Financial services or fintech experience required.
• General understanding of UK VAT and payroll taxes preferred.
• Knowledge of Xero and NetSuite preferred but not essential.
• A self-starter who would need minimum guidance and is able to solve problems.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
• Desire to constantly introduce efficiencies and quality within key Finance areas.
• A good knowledge of accounting systems, Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• New or part qualified accountant with one of the main professional bodies (i.e. ACCA, CIMA etc.).

£55,000 - £65,000 a year
