Founding Product Engineer ( Web3 ) $180K - $250K S F Bay Area

Our Mission

Our client is dedicated to making on chain ownership universal and accessible. We build novel protocols, infrastructure, and applications that empower developers globally. As a founding engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling our internal capabilities and extending access to onchain ownership.

About the Role

Join as a Founding Product Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in developing foundational infrastructure in a fast-paced startup environment. Your contributions will span across:

• Researching, designing, and implementing hybrid onchain/offchain systems.
• Building and shipping scalable code, including indexers, databases, smart contracts, APIs, and applications.

Our Tech Stack

• Onchain: Solidity (Ethereum/EVM L2s) + Foundry
• Backend: Rust, TypeScript
• Frontend: React, Tailwind
• Infrastructure: railway.app, neon.tech

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

• 4+ years of building production-grade web applications.
• Expertise in modern frontend technologies: React/Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Wagmi, Viem.
• Backend development in Typescript/Node.js or Rust.

Key Skills:

• Database design and optimization.
• API architecture.
• Performance monitoring, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-powered developer tools.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to build and scale user-facing products.
• Strong design sensibility and UI/UX attention to detail.
• Understanding of system design and scalability principles.
