Web3 Global Compliance Program Manager, Bulgaria

We’re looking to hire a Global Compliance Program Manager to help build, enhance, and maintain our global compliance programs and processes. The Global Compliance Program Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day compliance program operations function at Foris Europe OOD (“the Company”).  The successful candidate will work closely with the SVP Regulatory Compliance (Europe).

Job Responsibilities:

• Developing, creating and maintaining global policies and procedures;
• Carrying out periodic testing of local policies to ensure they are in line with the global policies requirements;
• Carrying out jurisdictional risk assessment;
• Producing and enhancing risk assessment methodology;
• Analyzing and interpreting regulatory risk landscape globally;
• Coordinating Global Program processes such such as Conflict of Interest management;
• Setting up and coordinating the activities of the AML Operating Committees;
• Performing other duties as required, as well as leading ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Economics/Law or any other related subject, Master’s degree is an advantage;
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in the financial services industry, preferably in the fintech sector. Experience in conducting financial crime risk assessment is an advantage;
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the European and international regulatory requirements and legislations in the field of Fintech/Digital Currencies sector. ACAMS certification or equivalent is preferred;
• Good understanding of the Company’s business, its technical, financial and organizational structure;
• Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels both inside and outside the Company;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with other teams is required;
• Excellent writing skills are a must;
• Integrity, initiative, perseverance, discretion, interest in fintech and motivation to occupy the position.
