Your Role

To guide and accelerate the productization of innovations within the Bio Protocol ecosystem. You will act as a strategic advisor to bioDAO founders, helping them navigate the "idea maze" from early-stage research to market-ready consumer health products. You will champion a product-focused mindset, prioritizing opportunities with near-term commercial potential and leveraging the unique advantages of the decentralized, community-driven bioDAO model. You will act as a central node, creating frameworks so that bioDAOs can understand where responsibilities lie.

What You'll Be Doing

• Strategic Guidance: Advise and mentor bioDAO founders on identifying, prioritizing, and developing product opportunities with a focus on rapid time-to-market.

• Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Continuously assess market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscapes within relevant health and wellness sectors to identify viable product pathways for bioDAOs.

• Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and refine go-to-market strategies tailored to the bioDAO model, considering unique regulatory considerations, community engagement, and distribution channels.

• Regulatory Navigation: Provide guidance on navigating the regulatory landscape for consumer health products, identifying efficient pathways to market while minimizing risk. (Emphasis on practical understanding, not deep pharma regulatory expertise).

• Framework Development: Create and maintain playbooks, case studies, and standardized frameworks to enable bioDAOs to independently navigate the productization process.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Molecule's e-commerce and logistics team) to ensure seamless support for bioDAO product launches.

• KPI Definition & Tracking: Establish clear deliverables and key performance indicators (KPIs) for bioDAOs, including metrics related to idea generation, diligence, governance, product launches, and sales.

• Community Engagement: Foster a strong understanding of the bioDAO communities and leverage their insights and participation in the product development process.

• Centralized vs Decentralized Responsibilities: Be a central node and source of truth, for bioDAO founders to clarify, and help build systems around, what is best handled centrally vs decentrally.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience (ideally 5+ years) in bringing consumer health products to market, preferably in a startup or emerging industry environment.

• Strong understanding of market access strategies, distribution channels, and the regulatory landscape for consumer health and wellness products (e.g., supplements, over-the-counter products, digital health tools).

• Experience in companies with diverse health product portfolios, or experience in industries that have successfully navigated regulatory hurdles to bring innovative products to market (e.g., vaping, consumer genetics).

• Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to build rapport with founders, inspire confidence, and drive consensus. ("Social architect" mindset).

• A strategic and analytical thinker with a strong bias for action and a focus on tangible results.

• Openness to utilizing AI and emerging technologies to enhance product development and market analysis.

• A passion for democratizing science and empowering communities to participate in the development of new therapies and products.

• [Optional, but a plus] Experience with gamification or community-driven product development.

• Web3/crypto experience is not required.
