We are looking for a lead auditor for Operational Risks, across the European operations of the Binance exchange eco-system, reporting to the European Head of Internal Audit.

Responsibilities

    • Design and implement audit strategies for covering key financial risks, across the entity and country structures
    • Design of periodic audit plan, using risk-based methodology
    • Responsible for delivery of the approved audit plan
    • Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls in place to mitigate financial risks
    • Recommend enhancements to the control environment, based on identified weaknesses and your insights from industry and regulatory expectations
    • Support the execution of risk-based analytical data sampling
    • Ownership of the end-to-end delivery of audits, in line with the IA Methodology
    • Participate in peer review and quality assurance reviews, to ensure other parts of IA are maintaining quality standards

Requirements

    • More than 8 years’ experiences in internal or external audits in finance institutions, risk and insurance management and stock exchanges, and large internet business based companies
    • At least a bachelor's degree, preferably in an analytical discipline
    • Good understanding of Internal Audit/Risk Management/Investigation Functions
    • Deep understanding of operational risk management in financial services or technology organizations
    • Experience of operational resilience regime in the UK
    • Team Player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and within a small team setting
    • Ensures data and reporting needs are well understood and delivered promptly
    • Analytical, proactive and flexible in dual hatting between daily production and occasional change initiatives
    • Great interpersonal and communication skills
    • Experience in crypto industry is a plus
