Flow is a layer one blockchain designed from the ground up as a platform for a new generation of Web3 apps, games, and the digital assets that power them. Flow is home today to millions of users and apps from top tier creators including Cryptoys, and Dapper Labs (NBA, NFL, Disney) as well as industry leaders such as Mattel (Barbie, Hot Wheels), LiveNation / Ticketmaster, and many more.

We’re looking for a Junior Developer Relations Engineer to help onboard and excite developers about building on Flow. You’ll be the first point of technical engagement for many developers entering Web3 and Flow’s ecosystem, helping them take their first steps, guiding them through key use cases, and fostering an active and engaged developer community.
This role is ideal for a community-centric engineer who loves exploring new technology, building in public, and helping others along the way. You’ll play a crucial role in growing Flow’s developer ecosystem by creating content, engaging on social platforms, and ensuring developers have the resources and support they need to succeed. Over time, you’ll build your personal brand as a trusted voice in the Flow developer community, helping to shape the way builders interact with the ecosystem.

What we will accomplish together:

    • Help onboard new developers by creating guides, tutorials, and example projects that showcase the first use cases for building on Flow.
    • Cultivate and engage Flow’s developer community across Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and other key channels, providing technical support and fostering discussion.
    • Build in public, sharing insights, projects, and best practices that inspire developers and demonstrate Flow’s capabilities.
    • Create educational and technical content, from blog posts to live coding sessions, to help developers get started and deepen their understanding of Flow.
    • Gather and share developer feedback with internal teams, helping improve documentation, tooling, and overall onboarding experience.

About you:

    • Technical background with experience in Web3, blockchain, or smart contract development (Cadence experience is a plus, but not required).
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to developers at different levels of experience.
    • Passion for community-building and developer engagement, with a desire to connect with and support builders across multiple platforms.
    • Experience creating developer-focused content (blog posts, videos, tutorials, or live coding sessions).
    • A growth mindset, eager to learn, experiment, and develop a personal brand as a trusted voice in the Web3 developer space.
Flow is a remote-first team of seasoned technologists dedicated to our mission of mainstream Web3 adoption. Founded in Vancouver, Canada, Flow’s team is now spread primarily across the US and Canada – with small presences in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. With Crescendo, Flow is now as easy to deploy onto as any EVM-based Layer 2, while preserving the full capabilities of the rest of the protocol. The Crescendo upgrade catalyzes a massive improvement in liquidity on Flow including on- and off-ramps as well as a native DeFi ecosystem that serves as a liquidity backbone for the entire network.

At Flow Foundation, we prioritize recruiting top talent and cultivating an empowering environment for our team. This entails fostering a workplace that is characterized by diversity, inclusivity, and open-mindedness. We enthusiastically welcome applicants from all walks of life, regardless of race, color, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
