THE ROLE
Reporting to the VP, Operations, the Operations Manager will manage a team of motivated individuals and ensure our 600+ existing and new Bitcoin ATMs across North America. You will work in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure processes are streamlined and issues are being resolved in a timely manner. You will use data and analytics to think outside the box and solve diverse operational challenges.
This position is remote during the pandemic and will be based out of our head office in Toronto, Ontario. You will report to the VP of Operations. Travel to our warehouse and partner locations may be required from time to time within the GTA.
YOUR IMPACT
- Build and lead a team of Operations professionals through tracking team performance, conducting team meetings and encourage knowledge sharing sessions
- Collaborate with the VP, Operations to develop team performance metrics and share the variance in results to provide necessary feedback to the team
- Oversee and manage the day to day operations of bitcoin ATMs including; cash management, downtime of the machines and escalation of critical issues
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure process efficiency and track the progress and bottlenecks on new ATM installations
- Review and monitor the incoming support tickets to the team and provide ongoing support when required
- Liaise with retailers and external service partners to handle service escalations and ensure operational up time of ATMs across Canada & the United States
- Identify opportunities to develop, implement and scale processes, systems and resources to support the daily operations of our bitcoin ATMs
- Collaborate with cross functional teams such as Sales, Marketing and Engineering to ensure operational efficiency with new and existing ATMs across North America
- Other duties and projects may be assigned
THIS IS YOU
- 5+ years experience leading a team in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Strong leader with experience building and scaling Operations teams
- Excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
- A data driven decision maker who is comfortable with working with numbers to analyze trends and inefficiencies
- Strong business acumen with a passion for understanding how the business works
- Working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA
- A professional who craves for responsibility and thrives in a fast paced dynamic environment
