Fortress Financial Technologies is a Web3 FinTech company building technology-driven (API) infrastructure for financial, regulatory, and e-payment needs. Fortress serves traditional and modern markets, including banking, neo-banking, blockchain technologies, cryptocurrency, ePayments, and tokenization. With our products and APIs, clients can build their platforms with everything they would need to modernize within our burgeoning digital economy. We are looking for a talented Product Designer and innovative thinker to help us expand our suite of products. This candidate will play an instrumental role in shaping large parts of these products and the future of the companies. Must be based in Austin, TX
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties)
- Help execute and deliver the end-to-end product design for multiple products
- Be the master of keeping our Figma files up to date and organized
- Design consumer-friendly UI solutions to otherwise complex blockchain, payment, banking, and investment technologies
- Perform internal and external user research to understand our users’ needs
- Work closely with design leads and engineers to develop solutions that are best tailored for the problems the team has identified
- Execute and imagine micro-interactions and interactive prototypes
- Maintain and iterate design components to drive consistency and reusability throughout the app

- You have an interest in / have previous knowledge on blockchain, cryptocurrency, or other new technologies and trends

- Designing and delivering multiple products as an individual contributor.
- We expect you to get your hands dirty!
- Figma UI Libraries and symbols, and geek out over design systems and patterns
- Simplifying the way users send and receive money
- Designing out a mobile banking app that you would actually ditch your current bank for
- Continuous personal and professional growth and learning
