Web3 Project Manager (Africa)(Remote)-Business Enterprise

What is Polygon?

The Role

This role is designed to be a Project Manager for the N2B (Next Two Billion users) project, which focuses on building tools for the real world through blockchain technology; looking at people’s pain points, analyzing them, and providing mechanisms through cutting edge technology to solve them. Currently, this project has just started working on the following African countries: ​​Uganda, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa. The ideal candidate should have good communication and assertive skills, being able to build partnerships. Further, it must have strategy experience in communication with governments, regulators, banks, consultancies, NGO’s, local organizations and blockchain and/or Etherum-related companies.   The position includes but is not limited to identifying and evaluating new opportunities where Polygon’s technology could be used to provide real tools to the population, reaching out, forging partnerships and integrating with locals.

Expectations: This is a Senior/mid-level role and would report to the Head of Business Enterprise.

What you need to succeed: Understand needs, best practices and trends to properly address each situation through the use of the Blockchain Technology from the Polygon Ecosystem. Preferable: Pre-existing knowledge about Blockchain.  Good account and project management to coordinate the onboardings to Polygon Technology. Be able to hold advanced negotiations with high-level spoken and written English and/or French.
