Web3 Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Summary

Altonomy is looking for a QA engineer with test automation experience to join its QA team based in Singapore. The ideal candidate should be well versed in both manual and automated testing.

Job Description

• Work closely with developers to test new requirements
• Create and execute test plan prior to new application releases
• Contribute to the testing framework to automate test cases
• Work closely with stakeholders (e.g. Traders, Quants and Operations) to ensure quality and reliability needs of the business are met
• Contribute to inter-team and cross-team efforts to enforce standards and ensure adherence to optimum software designs patterns

Qualifications / Experiences

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Engineering
• Proficiency in Python is a mandatory requirement
• Experience with test automation is a mandatory requirement
• Experience with UI automation tools such as selenium, playwright, etc is a plus
• Experience working with BDD framework, behave, pytest-bdd is a plus
• Experience with Dockers, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools is a plus
• Familiarity with Unix-like operating systems
• 1-4 years’ of relevant experience in test automation, preferably in the financial sectors

Skills / Abilities

• Interest in both traditional finance and cryptocurrency markets
• Good grasp of software engineering principles
• Good communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Well-versed with modern backend technologies such as Python-Flask/FastAPI, Nodejs, Nginx, MySQL, Redis
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and SQL
• Knowledge of other technologies such as CI/CD, C/C++, Solidity is a plus
• Familiarity with cloud computing services (e.g. AWS, Alibaba Cloud) is a plus
