Role Overview
Trojan Trading is adding an Associate Recruiter to our existing team. In this role, you’ll work with the team to identify and screen candidates for open positions with an emphasis on technical roles. Your primary responsibilities will be to build the top-of-funnel for our recruiting pipeline through applicants and external sourcing. You will need to manage and track candidates throughout their entire interview lifecycle. Whomever we hire must have strong communication skills across all mediums including video meetings, Telegram, Slack, and email. Strong organizational skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing Applicants: Ensure that applicants for all roles are reviewed and appropriately dispositioned weekly
  • Sourcing: You must be able to find and contact top-tier candidates
  • Candidate Management: Provide a great candidate experience throughout our interview process
  • Recruiter Interviews: Conduct video interviews with candidates and confidently assess their skills and qualifications especially around their technical skills and aptitude

Requirements
  • Experience: 1-2+ years of experience sourcing and recruiting candidates for engineering roles at web3 or FinTech projects. These could include, but are not limited to, Frontend and Backend Engineers, Data Engineers, and QA Engineers. Ideally, candidates will have experience hiring for teams building interactive, high throughput, realtime, low latency decentralized trading products.
  • Web3: Ideally, you will have previous recruiting experience at a web3/crypto project hiring for technical roles
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively over Telegram, Slack, and over video meetings
  • Organized: You must be able to keep yourself organized and focused in an asynchronous, startup environment
  • Self-Starter: We run very lean and don’t micromanage our team, so you must be able to hold yourself accountable to personal, team, and organization-wide goals and standards
  • Startup Environment: Ability to excel in a lean, fast-paced startup environment
