The Thailand Regulatory Affairs & Licensing Manager leads Coins’ regulatory strategy, licensing execution, and compliance alignment in Thailand. The role tracks regulatory developments, manages licensing processes, communicates with regulators, builds internal compliance frameworks, and ensures Coins’ products and operations comply with Thai SEC, BOT, AMLO, and other authorities.

Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor and interpret regulations from SEC, BOT, AMLO, and assess their impact on Coins’ products and operations.
    • Advise management and product teams on regulatory feasibility, requirements, and risk implications.
    • Lead end-to-end regulatory licensing processes, including preparing submissions and managing regulator communications.
    • Maintain strong relationships with regulators and handle inquiries, audits, inspections, and periodic reporting.
    • Develop and maintain internal compliance frameworks, policies, SOPs, and AML/CFT requirements for Thailand.
    • Coordinate cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Finance to ensure regulatory alignment.
    • Draft regulatory strategy reports, position papers, and consultation responses for policy developments.
    • Identify regulatory risks early and provide clear guidance to internal stakeholders.
    • Represent Coins in regulatory dialogues, consultations, and industry engagements.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Law, Public Policy, Business, or related fields preferred.
    • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in regulatory advisory, licensing, compliance, or legal within financial services, fintech, or consulting.
    • Strong understanding of Thai SEC, BOT, and AMLO regulations covering digital assets, payments, e-money, and AML/CFT.
    • Experience managing licensing applications or preparing regulatory submissions.
    • Excellent analytical, research, and regulatory interpretation skills.
    • Strong written communication skills for drafting filings, policies, and strategic documents.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple regulatory projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • High attention to detail and ability to build relationships with regulators and internal stakeholders.

Nice to Have

    • Experience in crypto, digital assets, CEX operations, or regional fintech.
    • Familiarity with stablecoins, digital asset infrastructure (non-technical level).
    • Previous involvement in regulatory inspections, audits, or formal consultations.
    • Experience developing AML/CFT frameworks, risk management systems, or internal governance programs.
    • Native or fluent Thai language with strong professional English communication.
