Web3 Senior Accountant

Bitcoin Depotis seeking aSenior Accountantwhich to join the accounting team which will report to the Accounting Manager. This role will be responsible for the company’s ever expanding fixed asset portfolio, month-end journal entry processing, and balance sheet reconciliations. This position is required to meet all scheduled monthly financial reporting deadlines and provide accurate and timely analysis and research on critical accounts as needed. The person in this role will also be the primary contributor to the fixed asset portfolio within the accounting software application, Sage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial data.
• Gather necessary data to support disclosures, tax requests, and audit requests.
• Develop/update ad hoc reports and forms as needed to support routine activities, accounting needs, and financial reporting needs.
• Create and maintain procedural documentation and training materials to support existing or newly established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, including compilation of control evidence.
• Assist with the monthly rent payment processes for all store owners.
• Promote innovation and create workflow efficiencies in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of overall general accounting experience required
• High attention to detail required
• Ability to process high volumes of data required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• SaaS or Technology industry experience preferred
• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are a plus
• Working knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance is a plus.
• Experience withSAGE applicationis a plus.
• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
